From the Archives- Dreams and Imagination
For around 10 years beginning in 1983, I created many works of art inspired by dreams and imagination. These prints, paintings and collages have always occupied an important place in my studio, moving with me to different apartments, cities and even countries. They are always the first things that I unpack, making sure all pieces are accounted for and undamaged and safely stored away. They represent an important and meaningful time in my career as an artist. Together they make up a kind of photo album, revealing moments from my past, a personal history of feelings and emotions, that I may look at from time to time whenever I want to remember something about myself.
